Description

Ridgeway House is a house built around 1800. It has a timber frame and is weather boarded, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with a hipped roof and has chimney stacks at both the left and right ends. The front features a regular arrangement of two glazing bar sash windows on each floor, with a central door that has six moulded panels, framed by a moulded and reeded architrave topped with a cornice. There are large weatherboarded extensions on the left side of the house. Inside, the house includes reeded and moulded wooden fire surrounds that are similar in style to the doorway.
