Description
Court Farmhouse is a house dating from the 16th century, with cladding added in the late 17th century. It features red and blue brick cladding and is likely timber framed in origin, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has two storeys and an attic, set on a plinth that is partly made of ragstone. The roof is hipped with gablets and has a stack at the right end, along with a hipped central dormer.
On the first floor, there are three light flat section mullioned and transomed windows on both the left and right sides, with a central cross window. The ground floor has two three-light wooden casements with segmental heads. The central door is made up of six panels, with the top two being glazed and also featuring a segmental head. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot. Inside, the farmhouse has simple chamfered beams and a renewed inglenook.
