Description

No. 8 West Cross is a 17th-century, two-storey timber-framed building. The ground floor is now faced with red brick, while the upper floor is tiled. Part of the rear of the building is plastered, revealing the visible timber-framing. The gable features carved bargeboards. The house has four windows and has undergone alterations, including the insertion of sash windows and the addition of a ground floor extension with a pentice roof at the southeast corner.
