Description

Westfield House is a large, early 18th-century house, now subdivided. Constructed of red brick with grey headers, it features a steeply pitched hipped tiled roof and an eaves cornice, with a stringcourse running along the facade. The east half of the house has casement windows, while the west half retains sash windows with original glazing bars. A doorcase is distinguished by fluted pilasters and a flat hood. A modern addition exists at ground floor level to the east. The building possesses group value from its contribution to the area’s historic character.
