Description
The Old Post Office, located at The Cobbles, is a building that dates back to the 17th century or earlier. It features a timber-framed structure that was refaced in the 18th century, with red brick on the ground floor and tile-hung above, primarily using curved tiles. The roof is hipped and tiled. The building has three casement windows. The Old Post Office and The Cobbles include 18th-century shop windows that retain their glazing bars. Amberstone features a small fanlight and a door with two fielded panels.
