Description

This stable or barn, located about 50 metres west of Court Lodge Farmhouse, dates from the early 18th century and was partly rebuilt in the early 19th century. It is constructed from red and blue chequered brick and features a plain tiled roof. The building is single-storey with a hipped roof and has outshots on both the left and right sides. It includes ventilation slits, one casement window, and boarded doors at both ends, as well as double doors in the centre. Inside, there are four bays with some stable or stock partitions and a grain loft floor, supported by a clasped purlin roof. This structure is included for its group value.
