Description
Church Hill Cottage is a house dating from the early 18th century, with extensions added in the late 18th or early 19th century. It is constructed from red and blue brick and ragstone, topped with a plain tiled roof. The building has an L-shaped plan and stands two storeys high on a ragstone plinth, with the right end made of ragstone and a projecting 19th-century wing to the left. The roofs are hipped, featuring stacks on the left, centre left, and right. The projecting wing has two wooden casements and a panelled corner door, while the central part of the main block has two wooden casements on the first floor and one wooden casement on the ground floor, along with a half-glazed door set in a pendant gabled porch, and another half-glazed door to the right. The cottage is included for its group value.
