Description

Forehead Farmhouse is a house dating from around 1700. It is constructed of ragstone with red brick gables and has a plain tiled roof. The building stands two storeys high on a plinth and features a dogtooth cornice along the roof, with chimney stacks located to both the left and right. The front has a regular arrangement of two tripartite wooden casements on each floor, and there is a central boarded door set within a gabled 20th-century porch. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot that includes a large 20th-century flat-roofed dormer. The farmhouse is included for its group value with Oak House.
