Description
Court Lodge is a house that dates back to the 16th century, with cladding added around 1700 and extensions made in the late 20th century. The building has a timber frame, which is clad and extended with red brick and tile hung on the first floor, topped with a plain tiled roof. Originally designed as a hall house, it stands two storeys high on a plinth and features a hipped roof with gablets and a central chimney stack. There is a projecting half-hipped wing added in the 20th century. The first floor has five metal casement windows, while the ground floor has four. The entrance features a central 20th-century plank and stud door with a flat hood supported by brackets.
