Description

The mid-19th century terrace of 1 to 19 Barrowhill Cottages likely has a connection to Ashford Barracks. The cottages are built of Kentish ragstone with slate roofs. Each cottage has one cambered window on each of the two storeys; some windows retain their original sash glazing bars. Doorcases are set within cambered arches. A carriage entrance is situated between numbers 10 and 11. Number 7 has been colour-washed. Nos 1-19 form a group.
