Description
Annabel is a house and shop dating from the 18th century, with some early 19th-century features. The walls are made of painted brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond, while the ground floor is rendered. The roof is tiled and half hipped at the north end. The building is located on the corner with Red Lion Street, featuring a west front elevation that has two storeys and an attic with four windows, one of which is blank. The first floor has 18th-century sash windows in exposed frames. The shop is double fronted, with an additional window facing Red Lion Street. The corner of the building is rounded, where a window has replaced the former corner entrance. The shopfront includes a moulded cornice with a wide projection, a fascia, and pilasters.
