7/30 Dairy 80 m NW of Cranbury House

GV II

Dairy. Late C18 by G Dance Jnr., restored 1978. Yellow brick with Portland stone dressings and rendered walls, lead roof. Single storey, 2 bays with to each side quadrant colonnades running on to brick walls, forming semicircular courtyards. End has stone plinth and is gently bowed in header bond with bowed 12-pane sash having string course below sill and above gauged brick arch with stone cornice above it. Each side quadrant colonnade of 2 Doric columns and pilasters, at each end, with heavy plain entablature. Inside all round marble shelf, and domed ceiling on limestone pilasters.
