Description

The pond and fountain in front of the east facade of Cranbury House were created in the early 19th century by J B Papworth. The pond has a diameter of 8 meters and features a surround and coping made of Portland stone, topped with eight stone vases. At the center, there is an ornate two-tier fountain with a foliaged fountain head, which sits on a small bowl that is placed on a larger bowl.
