Description
West Stratton House is a house from the 18th and 19th centuries, constructed of brick with pebbledash and rendered with incised lines around the openings. The roof is slated. This rectangular double pile house features a projecting bay at the left end and 19th-century projections on the left side. It is two storeys high with a three-window range on the front and an additional three-window range on the left side. The central doorway has an early 19th-century nine-panelled door and a spider web fanlight above. The left bay projects forward by half a bay. On each side of the door, there are late 18th-century twelve-pane sash windows on both floors, and above the door, there is a 19th-century two-light casement window. To the left, there is one bay with two 18th-century twelve-pane sashes, and further back, there is a two-bay range with two 19th-century friezed windows and sashes above. The roof is hipped, low-pitched, with overhanging eaves and a stack located behind the projecting bay.
