Description
This is a 17th-century barn located 10 meters southwest of Totford Farmhouse. It features a timber frame that is weatherboarded and topped with a corrugated iron roof. The barn has five bays and includes an aisle added to the farmyard sides, outshots at both ends, and a 20th-century brick lean-to on one side. There is a full-height opening in the center bay, which is covered by a canopy porch. The roof is half hipped. Inside, the barn has a queen-post strut roof with curved windbraces, some curved braces to the wallplate, and the rest are straight. The original base plate for the aisle is still present.
