Description

The buildings at 71 and 72 Parchment Street are a 17th-century property, significantly altered in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The building is two storeys and has an attic. It has colourwashed, rendered brick walls and a steeply pitched roof covered in old tiles. A coved, moulded eaves cornice is boarded. The first floor has five windows, which are 19th-century sash windows, with two bays featuring windows with glazing bars, two of which are false. The bays are cantilevered. The ground floor now has modern shop windows and three doors. There are three attic dormers.
