Description

No. 5 Upper Brook Street is an early 18th-century building that stands two storeys high with an attic. It features brick walls with stone quoins and a stone base. The building has a moulded bracketed wooden cornice and an old tiled roof. There are three windows, and a central arched door with a wooden surround and an open moulded pediment. The door is an eight-panel design with panelled reveals and a rectangular light above it. On one side, there are bowed windows with sashes that have glazing bars above. The building also has two gabled dormers. Notably, the south gable wall includes some carved remains from the Church of St. Ruoll.
