Description

No. 25 High Street is a building dating from the 18th century. It has three storeys with painted brick walls and a moulded brick cornice. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles. There are three windows facing High Street, with the centre window being blank, and irregular windows on the Market Street side. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, situated above a modern shop front. A band runs along the second floor level. This building is part of a group that includes the Old Market House, the Butter Cross, and Nos 25 to 50 consecutively.
