Description

This is an 18th-century building, restored in 1968, located on the south side of The Square. The building is constructed of red brick with grey brick detailing and red dressings, and extends over three storeys. It has a symmetrical five-window façade. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. The central doorway is flanked by engaged Roman Ionic columns, a fluted frieze, a moulded cornice, and a broken pediment, leading to a six-panel door. A moulded wooden cornice tops the building, and it is finished with an old tile roof. The building joins the Cathedral to the south and is part of a group that includes numbers 2 to 14 (even).
