Description

Waltham Chase Mill is a water mill situated on a historic site, dating to the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The building is constructed of brick in English and Flemish Garden Wall bond, featuring cambered openings. It has a hipped slate roof and is L-shaped, with the majority of the windows concentrated in the angle of the building. The mill stands two storeys high with an attic. The windows are plain and industrial in style, and the doors are boarded. Two large metal water wheels are still in place, and the mill was operational until relatively recently.
