Description
This early 18th-century building, originally a single house, has been divided into two separate dwellings at 12 and 13 Lower Basingwell Street, Bishops Waltham. The walls are of painted brick in a Flemish bond pattern, with a cemented plinth and a decorative band marking the first floor. The roof is tiled, with coved eaves finished in plaster. The west front is symmetrical, featuring two storeys and three windows. The windows are modern casements. A central canopy shelters a pair of doorways, supported by wrought-iron brackets.
