Description
This is a spring source located 90 meters southwest of the southwest wing of Mottisfont Abbey. It has medieval origins but was modified in the 18th century and repaired in the 20th century. The spring features a bowl made of rubble flint, which has carved stones at the bottom. The bowl is approximately 3 meters in diameter and about 3 meters deep. One segment of the bowl's wall opens out into a stream. Surrounding the spring is plain iron fencing from the 18th century.
