Description
The White Hart is a public house that dates back to the 18th century, with an earlier core and a front range added in the 19th century. It features colourwashed brick and painted slate-hung brick, topped with an old plain tile roof. The building is two storeys high and has an L-shaped layout, consisting of three bays by three bays, with the early 19th-century range at the front, which includes a verandah on the ground floor.
On the ground floor, there is a 20th-century door to the left of centre, flanked by 20th-century casement windows. The first floor is supported by five cast-iron columns and features a slate band, with two 16-pane sash windows. The roof is half-hipped. The 18th-century section of the building includes three-light segmental head casements, with two-light casements above and a double-toothed cornice on the sides.
