Description

Homelea is a late 18th-century cottage located on Main Street, Hurstbourne Tarrant, near Ibthorpe. The building is constructed of flint with a thatched roof. It is a single-storey structure with an attic, featuring two windows. The roof is half-hipped at the west end and brought forward at the east end, continuing at a lower level above a narrow projecting wing alongside the road. A small eyebrow dormer is also present. The cottage has brick quoins and bands, with painted cambered openings. It has casement windows and a six-panelled door with two glazed upper panels, along with a plain boarded side door.
