Description

Latches is a former pair of cottages that has been converted into a single dwelling. It dates from the late 18th century and features a 20th-century rear extension. The building is constructed from flint and brick, topped with a thatched roof. It has one storey and an attic, with a layout of three windows above four. The roof is half-hipped and includes a timber-framed gable, with the eaves raised above the upper windows. The flint walls are accented with brick quoins and cambered arches. The windows are casements, four of which are old leaded lights. There are plain doors and a glazed porch at the rear. A stone plaque on the building is inscribed with "MMN 1776."
