Description
Yew Tree Farmhouse is a house built in 1702, constructed from brick and flint, and topped with a tile roof. The building features a symmetrical front facing south, with two storeys and an attic, and includes three windows. It has a steep hipped roof with three hipped dormers that contain casement windows. The walls display horizontal flint panels, brick quoins, rubbed flat arches, and a plinth. The windows are sashes set in exposed frames. The entrance has a doorway with a canopy supported by carved brackets, a fanlight with diagonal bars, and a four-panelled door, two of which are glazed. At the rear, there is an addition that creates a double pile, featuring similar wall construction and a lower-pitched gabled roof. The brickwork is dated.
