Description
Clatford Manor House is a house from the mid-18th century that has been incorporated into a larger scheme of flats, with some late 20th-century alterations. The building is constructed of brick and tile. The front, facing east, is symmetrical and features two storeys with three windows. An attic floor has been added, which includes four dormers. On the south side, there is a gable from a Victorian wing that has two storeys and one window. The walls are built in header bond and have rubbed flat arches on the ground floor, along with a cement plinth. The windows are sash style set in reveals. The entrance features a doorcase with a 20th-century pediment above an early 19th-century cornice and frieze, flanked by fluted pilasters. The entrance door is half-glazed and is accessed by a flight of stone steps, which are bordered by wrought-iron rails.
