Description
The retaining wall at St Edwards School, located in front of Melchet Court, dates from the late 19th century to early 20th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features steps. The drive extends approximately 25 meters north of the house at a lower level. On either side of the entrance spur, the drive rises in a quadrant shape up to the porch. The retaining wall runs along one side, above a small lawn that sits on top of a balustrade. In front of the porch, there is an opening that includes a flight of steps leading down to the lawn.
