Description
No. 29 on Middlebridge Street is a building dating from around 1840. It is two storeys high and constructed of brick, with a stucco ground floor. The building features rusticated stucco quoins above the ground floor and a moulded string course over the first-floor windows. The flat eaves and hipped slate roof add to its architectural character. There are two sash windows, each four panes wide, set within brick reveals and topped with rubbed brick voussoirs. The original central shop window is six panes wide and three panes deep, flanked by three-panel doors that are adorned with plain pilasters, a frieze, and a moulded cornice across the front.
