Description
Old Prospect Farm is an early 19th-century farmhouse. It features chalk cob walls that are rendered and colorwashed, with a brick end wall. The roof is hipped and covered with long straw thatch, and there is a rear catslide along with brick chimney stacks and an outhouse. The building has three bays with a baffle entry and stands two storeys tall. It includes two 3-light casement windows, with similar windows above in the 2nd and 3rd bays only, and planked timber doors. To the right flank wall, there is a brick-built thatched outhouse. The interiors date back to the early 19th century and include a large bread oven.
