Description
The listing describes six headstones belonging to the Homes family, located 12 to 5 meters south of the chancel of All Saints Church. These headstones date from the late 17th century to the 18th century and are made of carved stone. One headstone from the late 17th century is dedicated to Thomas Griffin, featuring a scrolled head and raised border. There are additional headstones from 1719 for Philip Homes, 1730 for Richard Homes, and 1764 for William Homes. The listing also includes double headstones from 1753 for Nick and Mary Wickham and 1760 for Henry and Betty King. Further south, there are two headstones with unusual designs, dated 1749 and 1773, for John Spragg and his wife.
