Description

Pontings Cottage is an early 17th century timber-framed cottage located on Upper Street in Breamore. The building features an exposed frame with herringbone brick infill and has a half-hipped thatched roof resting on a corbelled plinth. Originally a one-storey structure with an attic, it was later raised to two storeys and has four windows with casements. The entrance includes a Victorian panelled door set in a plain frame. Inside, the original three-cell structure is still intact.
