Description

Two cottages, known as Nos 1 and 2 Thatched Cottages (also called Neave and Newland Cottages), date from the early 17th century and are designed as a three-bay timber-framed lobby entrance house, with a 19th-century extension. The cottages feature an exposed frame with brick infill, while the north side extension is boarded. They have a half-hipped thatch roof and eyebrow dormers. The windows are cast-iron casements, and there are boarded doors set in plain frames, with one door located within a gabled tiled porch.
