Description
This is a barn, possibly originally a mill, located 50 meters south-east of Turner House. It dates from the late 18th century and may have been designed by S. Wyatt. The barn is constructed of brick and has a slate roof. It is 1½ storeys high and features a layout of 2 x 4 bays, with a lean-to along one side. The end facing the road has a plank door under a cambered head near each end, a long cast-iron window in the center, and double doors under a segmental head. Above this, there is a pedimented gable with a central oculus. One side of the barn has a weatherboarded end of the lean-to.
