Description

1 Prospect Place, also known as Squires Cottage, is a house built around 1840. It features yellow brick walls in Flemish bond, a stepped stone plinth, rubbed flat arches, stone cills, and a parapet with a cornice made of stepped brickwork with dentil bond. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. The northeast front elevation has two storeys and two windows, with sashes set in reveals. The doorcase includes a dentilled cornice and frieze supported by brackets, plain pilasters, and a 20th-century half-glazed door.
