Description
No. 21 Prospect Place is a house attached to No. 19, built in the early 19th century with some alterations made in the mid-19th century. The walls are made of stucco, and it features a parapet. The roof is hipped and covered with tiles, with a slate covering over a rear extension. It was likely designed as a lower wing of Nos. 17 and 19 but has two full-height bays added to the front. The house has two storeys and three windows across the front, which are sash windows. The doorway features pilasters, a later tiled hood situated between the bays, and a half-hipped door. The north-west elevation has a coupled parapet connected by a large tapered chimney. The upper windows on each side have pointed arches and Gothic sashes. The ground floor includes an original outshot, which is concealed by a horizontal parapet at the front, and has a slate roof with a sash window. The rear of the house has several complex small extensions.
