Description

No. 5 Prospect Place is part of a pair of houses, likely originally four, built between 1720 and 1730. The walls are made of painted brickwork in Flemish bond. There is a first-floor band and cambered arches on the ground floor, although some features have been altered. The roof is tiled and has two hipped dormers. The north-east front elevation is two storeys high with four windows, featuring casements, some of which have old leaded lights. The doors are boarded and set in plain openings. A stone plaque in the centre is inscribed with "1721 Guy W. M 1729."
