Description
This is a cartshed and granary built in the early 19th century, located 50 meters northwest of Fryern Court in Fordingbridge. The structure features brick walls with a front timber-frame and is clad with slate, topped by a slate roof. It is a two-storey building with five bays, where the elevation facing away from the yard has an open front with four bays supported by posts, and a brick bay on the left-hand side. The first floor includes two boarded doors and three small windows situated below the eaves. The opposite side is mostly blank, with only small windows below the eaves. The roof is hipped. Inside, the granary still contains a 19th-century grain crusher and timber hoppers.
