Description
The wall and steps to the upper terrace, located 10 meters south of Somerley Park House, were built in the mid-19th century. The structure is made of stone and features a wall that extends from the corner of the house's picture gallery, running west for 20 meters. This wall is constructed of rusticated stone and includes two shallow flights of five steps, each flanked by side walls topped with vases. At the western end, the wall continues north on top of a retaining wall, connecting to the screen walls of the courtyard.
