Description

The Old Manse is a mid-19th century house situated behind the eastern wing of number 43 High Street, facing east across the Church courtyard. It is a two-storey building with a gabled slate roof and painted brickwork. The facade has four windows, with the southern window on each floor being blank. The remaining windows are paired sash windows with glazing bars. The property forms a group with the United Reform Church, numbers 48 to 53 (inclusive) on the High Street, the railings and gate to number 48, and number 77 opposite.
