Description

The United Reformed Church, built in 1847, is set back from the street behind a garden courtyard. It is designed in the Gothic style and constructed from white brick. The church features an attractive, symmetrical three-bay facade with a coped gable end. The bays are divided by buttresses topped with pinnacles. The central bay is recessed and finished in stucco, featuring a full-height moulded arch and a three-light window with tracery. The outer two-light windows rise above a string course. The United Reformed Church, along with the Old Manse and Nos. 48 to 53, forms a group with the railings and gate to No. 48 and with No. 77 opposite.
