Description
This is an 18th-century bank building on the south side of High Street. It is constructed of red brick with brick pilasters on either side. The building shares a continuous brick parapet and wooden cornice with the adjacent buildings at numbers 36 and 37. It has a tiled roof and two dormers with pediments in the attic. The front facade has four sash windows with original glazing bars. The doorway is framed by pilasters and topped with a pediment, and contains a door made of two moulded panels. An original iron railing is located in the eastern forecourt. This building forms a group with numbers 26 to 34 and 36 to 44.
