Description
Nos 36 and 37 on High Street are 18th-century buildings. No 36 is finished in stucco, while No 37 is made of painted brick, featuring a brick pilaster between the two houses. Both buildings have a parapet, and No 37 has a wooden cornice that continues with the cornice of No 38. They rise three storeys and have two windows, although the glazing bars are missing except for the second-floor Venetian window of No 36. No 36 has a modern shop front, while No 37 has an altered shop front from the late 19th or early 20th century. These buildings, along with Nos 26 to 34 and Nos 36 to 44, form a group.
