Description
Lloyds Bank is an early 20th-century building located on the south side of High Street. It is constructed of yellow brick with sandstone dressings, featuring an eaves cornice and a hipped tiled roof. The building has a balustraded parapet and rusticated quoins. It stands two storeys tall and has five windows, which are adorned with moulded architraves and glazing bars, except for the lower half of the ground floor windows. There are side consoles at the eaves and a band above the first floor. An advanced porch is situated on the eastern side, supported by Tuscan pillars and featuring an entablature with a cornice and architraves. Above the door, there is a rectangular fanlight. Lloyds Bank is part of a group with Nos 26 to 34 and Nos 36 to 44 on the same street.
