Description

The Manse is a house, now used as offices, dating from the mid-18th century and altered in the 19th century. It is constructed of stuccoed brick with a plain tile roof. The building is two stories high with an attic and features three bays, with an early 19th-century wing on the right-hand side that projects forward to connect with a chapel located off the road behind the Congregational Chapel. A central 19th-century timber porch with decorative trellis adds character to the entrance. Inside, there is a six-panel door, and on either side, there are wide 16-pane sash windows. The first floor has three 12-pane sashes, and there are two hipped dormers on the roof, along with end stacks.
