Description
This is an 18th-century building on the south side of High Street, comprising numbers 6 to 8. The building has a stucco facade with a cornice and parapet, originally topped with a steeply pitched roof. Number 8, however, has a shallower, tiled roof. The building is two storeys high with an attic containing three hipped dormers. It features six windows with sash glazing, flush frames, and glazing bars. The shop fronts are modern, except for number 8, which has an altered early to mid-19th century shop front featuring an entablature with a dentil cornice, an architrave, and pilasters, though the glazing is modern. Numbers 1, 1a, and 2 to 8 form a group of buildings of group value.
