Description
These are a group of small cottages dating from the 17th and 18th centuries, with modern additions. They share a continuous thatched roof, with hipped ends. The front elevation displays exposed timber framing from two distinct periods, filled in with painted brickwork. The windows are casements, including some older leaded lights; the central section incorporates four modern casements within a weather-boarded wall, sheltered by eyebrows projecting from the thatched roof. There are two plain, boarded doors set within solid wooden frames. A modern extension with a tiled roof is located at the west end, known as Thatch End.
