Description
Post Office Stores is a late 18th century building that stands two storeys high and features three windows, with the center window filled in. It has a hipped red tile roof and brick dentil eaves. The walls are made of painted brick in Flemish bond with rubbed flat arches. The windows are sashes set in exposed frames. On the south side, there is a 19th century shop front, which includes a rectangular bay with a moulded cornice. The central doorway, which is now blocked, originally had an old doorcase featuring a moulded cornice supported by six modillions, a frieze, an architrave, and thin fluted pilasters, with a six-panelled door. At the rear of the building, there is a small timber framed shed that has a hipped tile roof and weather-boarded walls.
