Description

These are a group of mid-19th century buildings, likely with an 18th-century core, located on The Borough in Crondall. The buildings are arranged as a single block, with number 17 having two windows and a central porch, while numbers 19 and 21 each have one window with a coupled porch. They have red tile roofs with three dormers, all tile-faced and gabled, and a larger gable to the west. The walls are red brick with cambered openings, and the windows are casements. The porches have tile-hung gables and sides, and contain plain doors. The rendered western gable incorporates a first-floor band and plinth, suggesting an 18th-century origin for the building's structure, which has subsequently been refronted in a style typical of an estate cottage.
