Description

The former Congregational Chapel, built in 1798, is a rectangular building with a low-pitched slate roof that is gabled at both the front and rear. It features red brickwork in Flemish bond with rubbed flat arches. On the sides, there are two openings, while the front has a central projecting porch. This porch is flanked by a window on each side and has another window above it with a cambered arch. The porch itself is gabled and has elliptical (rubbed) arches on each face, with an impost band that frames recessed windows and a door. There is also a single-storey recent extension set back on the west side, which obscures the second window.
